Trish Carlos

We are privileged to have the amazing author Trish Carlos on our committee.

We’d like to share the special creativity of this Great Island native with you all.

In her own words: (Extract from http://www.trishcarlos.com)

I grew up in the island town of Cobh, Co. Cork.  A lover of the sea and books, my passion has always been for English and creative things.  I love to read, take photos and cook.  I studied English at UCC and went on to qualify as a teacher.

Since then I’ve been able to spend my summers reading books and wandering the world; dreaming of becoming a writer.

I married my childhood sweetheart in 2010 and have since had two amazing little boys.  Being diagnosed with the BCRA1 gene in 2012 made me decide to bite the bullet and I went about making my dreams a reality.  My first novel; inspired by my local town, Ireland’s beautiful landscapes and my love of Irish folklore was self published in 2016.  And I’m hoping it’s only the beginning.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by, hope you enjoy what you read or hear.

Feel free to contact me below if you would like to know anything about the book, self publishing or the writing workshops I teach.  I love feedback and making contact with readers so drop me a line and always remember…

Nothing is impossible if you Dare To Believe
